Circle of Care
At the Amputee & Prosthetic Center we do not view our role as simply the provider of a prosthetic device; rather we assume the role of the catalyst that initiates care for the amputee. Our staff members, many of whom are amputees themselves, become the intermediary between the prosthetic provider, the laboratory, multiple physicians and therapists to ensure continuity of care for our amputee patients.
The Amputee Center views the provision of prosthetic devices from a multi-disciplined approach. The Amputee Center Program nsures coordination of all specialties and services from the primary care physician, wound care, orthopedic surgeon, PMNR physician, physical therapist and prosthetist. The Amputee Center oftentimes refers patients out to wound care clinics, physical therapy, etc. We close the loop and make sure after the patient receives their prosthesis they are referred back to their referring physician.
Give us an opportunity to show you how much we care.
Teamwork from all disciplines ensures the best possible outcome for our patients.
