Our patient care centers have the latest in CAD/CAM scanning technology making the discomfort of casting a thing of the past! Measurements are more accurate, limbs and braces are produced faster and the fit and function are more precise.

The Amputee and Prosthetic Center also boasts a state-of-the-art laboratory located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center.

We fabricate all prosthetic devices and perform adjustments on site.  The Amputee and Prosthetic Center utilizes the CAD system that allows for modifications and changes in the patient's residual limb to be tracked electronically via a laptop.  The computer software enables us to fabricate a prosthesis using specifications from the prosthetist on the computer, to recreate the correct size and measurements of the patient's missing extremity.

We have developed such a high level of expertise, that other facilities utilize our laboratory to manufacture their products. Whether a patient is relatively inactive with a sedentary lifestyle or a "weekend warrior," our goal is to strive to meet the individual's particular needs based on function, durability, comfort, and appearance.
