Prosthetist/Orthotist Teresa Masters received her B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and completed her prosthetic and orthotic coursework in Chicago at Northwestern University. She received her American Board prosthetic accreditation (CP) in 1998 and her orthotic accreditation (CO) in 1999. After completion of her residencies and accreditation process, Teresa relocated to Anchorage Alaska affording the opportunity to work with a very diverse and active amputee population.
Teresa's broad range of experience includes micro-processor controlled knee units, myoelectric controlled upper extremity prosthesis, high activity level prosthetics and all aspects of orthotic care. Her enthusiasm for the field and compassion for her clients combine for exceptional outcomes in all aspects of prosthetic and orthotic care.
