TMC Orthopedic

The Amputee and Prosthetic Center is part of a bigger vision for Orthopedic and Prosthetic Care. It is just one of the divisions under parent company, TMC Orthopedic, which was created in 1991. It is one of the fastest growing orthopedic and bracing distributors in the nation. TMC Orthopedic offers a complete range of orthotic and prosthetic products and services to patients and the medical community. We provide a wide range of equipment and bracing from off-the-shelf wrist splints to custom molded back braces, sports braces, functional knee braces and pediatric orthotics– the list goes on and on. Our practitioners put patient care first as they evaluate each individual’s needs and provide the most effective orthotic device and fit for optimal patient outcome and recovery.

Limbs of Love

Limbs of Love was founded in 2008 by a board of directors connected to the Amputee & Prosthetic Center of Houston. It is a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide limbs to amputees in Texas and across the U.S. that have lost a limb but do not have the resources to pay for a prosthetic device. Very few charitable organizations have such a significant impact upon the lives of others.
 

Amputees in Action

Amputees in Action is an amputee support group and social club. The goal of Amputees in Action is to provide an emotionally supportive, educational and fun environment for any amputee.
 

Airborne Amputees

Airborne Amputees is the biggest and most important amputee event for Amputees in Action all year long. It is also the number one fundraiser every year for the charity Limbs of Love.
